Apple announced iPhone 5. iPhone 5 will be released on September 21st, pre-order starts on 14th.

Shape : Similar to iPhone 4/4S. Display size changed to 4” and aluminum + glass back
4-inch Retina display with a resolution of 1136 x 640 with a pixel density 326PPI
Thinnest phone ever made by Apple, 7.6mm thick. World’s thinnest. 112 grams. 20% lighter than 4S
16:9 aspect ratio
Vertical pixels add a 5th row of icons to the home screen
All your software works just like before. Apps that haven’t been updated: runs at the same size as it does on the phone. Apps aren’t stretched or scaled, it’s got black borders on each side
44% more color saturation than iPhone 4S
Touch sensors are now built into the display itself. 30% thinner as a result

Video: 1080p video, the stabilization has improved. Face detection for 10 people, and now you can take photos while you’re shooting video
Front camera: Now FaceTime HD camera with 720p support, backside illuminated sensor, and FaceTime works over 3G with iOS 6
Audio system: three microphones (up from 2) one on the bottom, one on the front, and one on the back.
Noise-canceling improved as well, Schiller says. New feature called “Wideband audio.”
