Google Docs allows us to quickly view documents online without leaving your browser. You can also upload and share these files in Google Docs, so that anyone can view the content using their browser.

Now the Google Docs Viewer launch support for 12 new file types.

The Document Foundation has launched the free office productivity suite LibreOffice 3.3, now available for download. LibreOffice 3.3 is it’s first stable release for Windows, Macintosh and Linux.

You send a link to your audience, and then everyone you invited watches a synchronized view of your slide show in their browser. The Broadcast Slide Show feature requires a network service to host the slide show. You can use
PowerPoint Broadcast Service which is provided by Microsoft(and it is free ) or a broadcast service provided by your organization, hosted on a SharePoint server that has the Microsoft Office Web Apps installed.

Anyone with the link to your slide show can view it! That is, if an invited audience member forwards the link to someone else, that other person can view your slide show as well, provided that they have access to the service.

Broadcast your presentation

1. On the Slide Show tab, in the Start Slide Show group, click Broadcast Slide Show.
2. You can change broadcasting service or use default free service from Microsoft. Here I am using default service.
3. PowerPoint will connect to MS server and you have to enter you Hotmail/live username and password
4. Finally you will get a link to the broadcasting page. Send that link to your friends so they can view the presentation.

Also note the bellow points

Any transitions in your presentation are shown as Fade transitions in the browser.

Screensavers and email pop-ups can disrupt the audience’s view of the slide show.

Audio (sounds, narration) is not transmitted to the audience through the browser.

You cannot add ink annotations or markup drawn onto the slide show during the presentation.

If you play a video in your presentation, the browser does not show it to the audience.

But today i got a solution. There are some product keys that do not need any activation. Install your office with those keys.

One such key is : RQCRJ-FCTYM-V3PDF-GRD46-9YHXQ

If you install your office with this key it will not prompt you for activation.

Don’t worry if you are already installed with another key. You can uninstall and then reinstall the beta version by using the new product license key ( RQCRJ-FCTYM-V3PDF-GRD46-9YHXQ ) Or you can use the following method to change your product key by modify the registry without uninstalling the beta version.

1. Close all Microsoft Office applications.

2. Click Start, click Run, type regedit in the Open box, and then click OK.

3. Locate the following registry subkey: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Registration Note you may also find another subkey that resembles the following subkey: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Registration\{30120000-0011-0000-0000-0000000FF1CE}

4. If you find additional subkeys that reference Microsoft 12.0 registration, open each subkey, and then identify the product by the ProductName entry. For example: ProductName=Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2007

5. When you find the subkey for the product from which you want to remove the existing product license key, delete the following entries:

· DigitalProductID

· ProductID

6. Exit Registry Editor.

The next time that you try to run an Office application, you will be prompted for a new product license key. Then, you can enter the product license key that is mentioned here. Vala problem solved….heheeeee

The first part runs for 20 minutes and the second for 17 minutes.

Microsoft said on Tuesday it was investigating how two in-house training videos appeared on two Web sites.

The videos, which popped up on YouTube and Google Video this month, were commissioned by Microsoft in 2004 as “a light-hearted way of getting our staff to think about the values they attach to working at Microsoft,” a company spokeswoman said.

The British series ended in 2003 with Gervais and co-writer Stephen Merchant saying there would be no further series.

The Office is a mock documentary set in a company whose politically incorrect manager, David Brent, believes, wrongly, he is amusing and popular.

By Tuesday, the videos had been pulled off the online video-sharing site YouTube. They remained on Google Video and Microsoft declined to say if it had try to have them pulled from that site.

“These videos were produced for internal use and were never intended to be viewed by the public,” said the spokeswoman said. “We are actively working to investigate how and why they have appeared now.”
